Below we detail common issues, and a checklist to follow

Need help finding your classroom to join? Use this article

1. Ensure you are not using Safari

  • Safari has known issues with loading our virtual classroom. Although it will work, we recommend using another browser (e.g. Chrome)

  • If the link automatically opens in Safari, copy the URL and paste into another browser

2. Check that audio and video are enabled in browser

a. In the top right, select the small video icon

b. Select "Always allow" and then done

c. Refresh the page

d. Ensure that video and audio are turned on

3. Check that your computer audio is on and microphone isn't muted

4. Close Zoom

  • If you have Zoom open and running on your desktop it will hijack your audio and video access. Close Zoom and reload your Space. (Sometimes closing Zoom will let the application run in the background, here's how to exit Zoom:

To exit the Zoom desktop client, right-click the Zoom icon in the system tray (bottom-right corner), then click Exit.

PC:

iOS:

  • If your iOS device does not have a physical home button:

    1. While in the Zoom app, swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause; this will bring up the app switcher.

    2. Swipe left or right to find Zoom.

    3. Swipe up on the Zoom card to exit.

  • If your iOS device has a physical home button:

    1. While in the Zoom app, press the home button twice; this will bring up the app switcher.

    2. Swipe left or right to find Zoom.

    3. Swipe up on the Zoom card to exit.

Android:

  • To exit the Zoom app on your Android device, tap the circle icon at the bottom of the screen

5. Refer to the Lessonspace help section

6. Reach out to Lessonspace support to raise a ticket

  • In the help section, select "Contact" in the top right and explain your issue

  • In the meantime, we suggest using Zoom to complete the lesson
